FROM I-88
Go to the very end of I-88 and obtain a ticket for the NYS Thruway.
Go WEST and take Exit 26.

FROM NYS Thruway coming from the East (Massachusetts)
Take Route 90 West stay on 90 to NYS Thruway exit 25 and get onto Route 890 as you go through the toll booth. (See directions that follow)
FROM Route 890 Coming from the East
Get off at the Michigan Avenue exit (#6) and at the traffic light, at top of ramp, take a right. This is Brandywine Avenue at this point. (Michigan is a left off the ramp - Do not go that way)
After taking a right, go to the 2nd traffic light. At the 2nd traffic light take a left onto Albany Street.
Travel Albany Street until you come to Craig Street at the 2nd traffic light.
Take a left onto Craig Street.
We are at 400 (First large building on the right.)
FROM NYS Thruway coming from the West
Get off at NYS Thruway exit 26 and get onto Route 890 as you go through the toll booth. (See directions that follow)
FROM Route 890 Coming from the West.
Get off at the Michigan Avenue exit (#6) and at the traffic light take a left onto Michigan Ave. (you'll see - Little League field right side, Park Tavern far left corner)
Michigan turns into Brandywine as you cross the 890 overpass.
Go to the 3rd traffic light. At the 3rd traffic light take a left onto Albany Street.
Travel Albany Street until you come to Craig Street at the 2nd traffic light.
Take a left onto Craig Street.
We are at 400 (First large building on the right.)
FROM NYS Thruway coming from the South
Get off at NYS Thruway exit 25 and get onto Route 890 as you go through the toll booth. (See directions that follow)
FROM Route 890 Coming from the East
Get off at the Michigan Avenue exit (#6) and at the traffic light, at top of ramp, take a right. This is Brandywine Avenue at this point. (Michigan is a left off the ramp - Do not go that way)

FROM State Street (Route 5) (from Albany/Colonie)
Driving east stay on Route 5 (Central Ave) it will change to State Street around the Mohawk Commons Shopping/Metro Ford area
From
Intersection of Routes 146 # 5 go approx 2.7 miles
Take a left onto Brandywine Ave. (Rite Aid on left)
Take your first right onto Albany Street.
Travel Albany Street until you come to Craig Street at the 2nd traffic light.
Take a left onto Craig Street.
We are at 400 (First large building on the right.)
FROM Downtown Schenectady - coming from the West on Route 5
Travel East on State Street (SR 5) until you come to Lafayette St (you will see Veterans Park straight ahead)
State St. splits at the park.
Take a right and very quick left up the right leg of State St. (St. Joseph's church on right) and past the court house and county building. (State St. changes to Albany Street across Veeder Ave.)
Go straight up Albany Street to the 3rd traffic light and then take a right onto Craig Street.
1st light is on the corner of Veeder (County Building on the right)
2nd light is the corner of Hulett (Old abandoned bank building on the right)
3rd light is the corner of Craig Street.
Take a right onto Craig Street.
We are at 400 (First large building on the right.)
Directions to the Rotterdam Clubhouse at 721 Curry Road
FROM Downtown Schenectady traveling West on State Street (Route 5) take a right onto Broadway and travel about 1.4 miles until you come to Guilderland Avenue (Bond Funeral Home on left). Bear left onto Guilderland and travel for approx 1.1 miles until you come to Curry Road (Route 7). Take a right onto Curry Road (Route 7) and travel for approx .03 miles. The Club is on your right just past the park.
FROM Downtown Schenectady traveling East on State Street (Route 5) take a left onto Broadway and travel about 1.4 miles until you come to Guilderland Avenue (Bond Funeral Home on left). Bear left onto Guilderland and travel for approx 1.1 miles until you come to Curry Road (Route 7). Take a right onto Curry (Route 7) and travel for approx .03 miles. The Club is on your right just past the park.
FROM I-88 Take Exit #25/Route 7 toward Schenectady/Rotterdam. go.03 miles. Turn left into Duanesburg Road (Route 7) go approx 2.5 miles. Bear right at the 5 Corners (McDonald’s. Tops Diner, 2 Gas Stations) and follow Route 7 EAST. Go another 0.2 mi and the Club is on your left at 721 Curry Road (Curry Road and Route 7 are the same road at this point)
FROM the WEST via NYS Thruway
Take exit #26 onto I-890 EAST toward Schenectady go 3.0 miles.
Take exit #2/route 337 toward Campbell Road go 0.2mile
Turn right onto West Campbell Road go 1.0 mile
Bear right to follow RT 337 go 0.2 mile
Bear left onto N. Thompson Street go 0.4 mile
Continue on Princetown Road go 0.9 mile to 5 corners (Business area includes McDonald’s, Topps Diner on right gas stations)
Continue on to Curry Road (Route 7) for 0.2 mile (Curry Road is between the Getty Station and McDonald’s)
The Clubhouse is on your left at 721 (It is set back from the road)
FROM the East and South via NYS Thruway ( A little tricky for those not familiar with the Thruway)
(TIP!!! The Thruway does, what some consider, a very strange thing. It changes from Route 87 North to Route 90 West at ALBANY exit 24) SO.... DO NOT GET OFF AT exit #24 Route 87 NORTH - that will get you on your way to Saratoga and all points North including Montreal, CANADA)
Stay on the Thruway until exit #25 of Route 90
Take exit #25 onto I-890 WEST toward RT-146/RT-7/Schenectady - go 0.6 m
Take exit #9/RT-7 WEST onto Curry Rd. (RT-7) toward RT-146 - go 3.3 mi
721 Curry Road is on the right just past a small park called Memorial Park and then a few houses.
Directions to our Mont Pleasant Clubhouse at 1104 Webster Street
FROM Thruway coming from the South
Get off at NYS Thruway exit 25 and get onto Route 890 as you go through the toll booth. (See directions that follow)
FROM Route 890 Coming from the East
Get off at the Michigan Avenue exit (#6) and at the traffic light, at top of ramp, Take a left turn at the top of the ramp. You are on Michigan Avenue. Go to the end of Michigan and take a right onto Chrisler Avenue and then an immediate left onto Lakeview Ave. GO to the end of Lakeview and take a right onto Crane Street. Travel on Crane unitl you come to 7th Avenue. Take a left onto 7th and go two blocks to Webster Strewet. The Clubhouse is on the corner.
FROM I-88

FROM Route 890 Coming from the West

Directions to Camp Lovejoy
FROM Downtown Schenectady
Turn onto Broadway and travel about 1.4 miles until you come to Guilderland Avenue (Bond Funeral Home on left).
Bear left onto Guilderland and travel for approx 1.1 miles until you come to Curry Road (Route 7).
Cross over Curry Road and proceed as follows from #2 in the next set of directions.
FROM the Rotterdam Boys & Girls Club at 721 Curry Road:
#1 Head East on Route 7 (Curry Road)
#2 Turn right on Guilderland Ave. (RT-158)
#3 Continue to follow RT-158 for approximately 3.2 miles
#4 Turn right on Route 146 go though the Village of Altamont.
#5 As you proceed through the Village go over the railroad tracks and up the hill (RT-156) toward Berne-Knox
#6 As you proceed up the hill you will see the Peter Young Center on the right.
#7 One mile past the Peter Young Center you will turn left onto Old Stage Road.
#8 Go approximately 0.3 miles and take a left onto Lovejoy Road.
#9 The Camp is at the end of the road. Proceed Slowly - Children at Play!
FROM Route 20 from the East - Left onto Route 146 go through the Town of Guilderland and on to Altamont and proceed as stated above.
FROM Route 20 from the West - Right onto Route 158 and proceed as stated above

From Gloversville, Amsterdam and other points West of Schenectady
Take route 5 to Schenectady you will come through downtown Schenectady.
FROM Downtown Schenectady - coming from the West on Route 5
