The Summer Program At the Rotterdam Clubhouse (S.P.A.R.C.) will include field trips, Swim lessons, Open Swim,  TRIPLE PLAY a program for Body Mind & Soul and programs that support creativity like Arts and Crafts and Pottery.  New for this year: Reading Counts with the Rotterdam Branch Library, 15 Love Tennis Program, and Walmart Bright Spots Reading Grant        But that’s not all S.P.A.R.C. has to offer! The chance for Club members to enroll in the American Red Cross’ Swimming and Water Safety Course and the technology-skill building options that come from the scheduled time in the Computer Lab also help benefit the members of S.P.A.R.C.       Program cost will be posted soon.  There is extra cost for Early Care and Late Care, which allows families to bring their children from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. and have them remain late from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Fee for early or late care is between $5.00 to 10.00 per day.   If there are any questions, feel free to contact the Rotterdam Boys & Girls Club at 518-355-7440.

Payment Plan $10 deposit for each week scheduled You may pay in full for the 8 week program and receive a 10% discount, You may pay weekly or bi-weekly.  Balances must be paid in full prior to the week reserved or an additional $10.00 will be assessed.  Make checks payable to:  Rotterdam Boys & Girls Club   Staff Supervision During SPARC the staff to member ratio or approx. 1 to 10.  Staff members are present for all activites.  All Counselors, Counselors-in-training and Specialists will be supervised by full-time B&GC staff.   Lunch Each child must bring a lunch each day.  During the hot summer days it is suggested that a lunch is packed that does not require refrigeration.   Swim Lessons  $10 for SPARC participant per two week session.   Swim Lesson class times As a result of Swim Lessons and SPARC being two separate programs.  In most instances we will not be aware of your child's swim times.  It is the child's responsibility to know his or her scheduled time. Age groups Age groups will be 6 & 7, 8 - 10 and 11 to 13.   Refunds Refunds are not available unless the Boys & Girls Club fails to be available. Personal Property We will no assume responsibility for lost or stolen articles during the summer progeam.  It will be the FULL responsibility of the participant to safegurad & clearly mark all items.  Electronic games, cell-phones, are not permitted.  Please do not allow your child to bring valuables to SPARC.
