summer program close to you!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady's very own
super affordable day camp for youth 5 to 13.
Campers must be 5 years old by 6/1/21.
Though this season will be unique due to the health crisis, the Boys & Girls Club is planning a memorable and safe summer camp for youth 5-13 years old. Summer camp gives Boys & Girls Club members exciting programs and provides opportunity for new friendships, experiences and lasting memories.

Camp fees are $65 per week ($40 for second child and $25 for the rest!)
All programs will follow health department COVID-19 guidelines and regulations.
We may modify our plans based on any new updates to guidelines.
The Boys & Girls Club will not be running Camp Lovejoy due to safety concerns.
The camp will be held at the Adeline Wright Graham Clubhouse.
SPARC 2021 - Summer Program at the Rotterdam Club
This year’s program runs for eight weeks beginning Monday, June 28th and ending Friday, August 20th.
(Closed on Monday, July 5th in recognition of Independence Day)
S.P.A.R.C. is a day camp for youth ages 5-13 year old. Campers must be 5 years old by 6/1/21.
All campers will participate in daily activities with a focus on our special themed weeks. Campers will enjoy a wide range of activities including sports, arts & crafts, physical fitness challenges, fun outdoor water games and much more.
Weekly Program Fees
Regular Monday- Friday
9am-5pm $65/ week
Additional children, same family:
$40 per week for second child
$25 per week for each additional child

City of Schenectady Park Summer Recreation & Enrichment Programs 2021
(Presented by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady)
Quackenbush Park – 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hillhurst Park – 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Steinmetz Park – 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM
The summer park enrichment programs will run Tuesday, July 6 through Friday, August 20. Programs will be closed on Monday, July 5. We will provide recreational/educational opportunities for youth to enjoy by involving them in constructive programs and activities, encouraging them to interact positively with others, develop significant adult relationships and acquire skills. To help to increase their reading skills and educational success we will encourage youth to complete at least five books over the summer. Youth will participate in reading club, arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, sports clinics including 15 Love Tennis, field games, healthy habits nutrition education, character programs, education enrichment programs, science projects, yoga, nature walks, high yield learning games and themed weeks throughout the summer. Daily clean-ups will be scheduled to keep the parks clean and free of debris.
We will offer family activities such as an ice cream social, BBQ and final awards celebration to encourage family bonding.
