A Foundation for the Future
Since 1936, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady, formerly the Boys Club, has provided a safe haven for the young people of Schenectady by offering quality programs and critically important relationships with nurturing and reliable adults. The Boys & Girls Clubs give their members, ages 6-18, access to dedicated, trained professionals who can provide guidance in adopting strong character and leadership development, healthy lifestyles, pursuing educational and vocational objectives and exploring arts, sports and recreational opportunities.
Most importantly, the Boys & Girls Clubs equip young people with the skills they need to resolve
conflicts peacefully, improve relationships within every aspect of their day-to-day lives, and function as responsible citizens.
