COME EXPERIENCE A CAMP LOVEJOY SUMMER!

Camp Lovejoy is the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady’s very own super affordable day camp for youth ages 6-14.

ABOUT CAMP LOVEJOY.

Located in the beautiful Helderberg Mountains, Camp Lovejoy a is summer haven engaging Boys & Girls Club members in exciting programs while providing opportunities for new friendships, experiences and lasting memories.

Acquired in 1957 with a generous contribution from Jesse R. Lovejoy, the grounds include a swimming pool, ponds, hiking trails, an outdoor amphitheater, arts & crafts building, picnic pavilions and playing fields, as well The Adeline Graham Lodge, a large air conditioned main hall.

Camp Fees
$75 per week
$60 for a second child
$40 for each additional child

The actual cost per camper exceeds $200/week.
Thanks to our generous Campership Campaign donors we are able to provide a partial scholarship to every camper at the rates listed above!

Enrolled campers are transported daily by bus to Camp Lovejoy. Parents may also drive campers to and from camp if they choose or if buses are full.

Lunch and afternoon snack are included.
Menus are posted on the Camp Lovejoy Facebook page weekly.

SPECIALTY CAMPS.

Specialty Camp programs take place during the morning session at Camp Lovejoy. When you register for camp, select your camper’s Specialty Camp preference. Specialty Camp programs run for 2 week sessions.

The Explorers

Young Chefs

CIT Program
(14 year-olds only)

The Counselor-In-Training Program at Camp Lovejoy is designed to offer 14 year old campers an opportunity to prepare for positions as junior camp counselors. This program will help develop their leadership and communication skills.

Lifeguard Prep
(Ages 12-14 only)

Designed for advanced swimmers to build a foundation of skills and knowledge for future lifeguarding.
