Albany Medical Center supports hope and opportunity for Schenectady kids and teens

We are thrilled to have Albany Medical Center (AMC) join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady as a Corporate Partner this year! Albany Medical Center provides the region’s widest range of medical and surgical services and has one of the oldest private medical colleges in the United States.

The Albany Medical Center is a gateway to highly trained specialists for the advanced care of children and adults coming from 25 counties throughout northeastern New York and western New England.

They believe that the City of Schenectady and Schenectady County are “can-do” communities where citizens really can make a difference. Representatives said, “When GE moved most of its business out of town, the leaders didn’t give up; neither did their residents. The result: The City of Schenectady today is a vibrant community.”

The Albany Medical Center has cared for thousands of patients from the City and County of Schenectady over the years. They greatly appreciate the many Schenectady residents that give their time, talent, and treasure to govern AMC, along with so many others in the region and the generous donors who support the life-saving work of the Albany Medical Center. They also recognize the important role Schenectady County plays in balancing city life as a rural life where fresh air, lush landscapes, farms, and country beauty reign.
