The GE Holiday Shopping Experience for Club Kids

Last week, ten Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady (BGCS) youth members were able to go holiday shopping for their family members thanks to the GE Holiday Shopping Experience for Club Kids. These kids loved the opportunity to pick out toys, clothing and even warm slippers for their family members, which will make their holidays incredibly special since they are able to give to the ones they love. BGCS Youth Members Join Raymour & Flanagan in Support of DIY STEM Program.

On Saturday, December 9, the Raymour & Flanagan furniture store on Balltown Rd. in Niskayuna supported the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady with an in-store fundraiser. Seven youth members joined Steinmetz Club Program Director Kristen Kucij leading holiday activities including decorating the store’s Christmas tree and making reindeer ornaments with visiting youth and customers. Raymour & Flanagan made a generous donation in addition to donations that came in at the event, which will go towards supporting the DIY STEM program of BGCS.
