Boys & Girls Club Kids Learn Video Production and Create an Amazing Summer Video

Last summer a group of our young people had the awesome opportunity to work with a video production company called Quiet On Set, operated by Prince Sprauve. The kids learned how to make a video from start to finish learning skills such as story boarding, lighting, video/photography using high-end equipment and much more. The young people also learned key roles of video production and movie making including Director, Lighting Team, Production Assistant, Location Scout, Casting, etc. The video you see here was shot almost entirely by the kids under the tutelage of Prince and his team. We are so proud of them! This project was made possible thanks to incredible support from Spectrum. The video was premiered at the Boys & Girls Club On August 12 for Spectrum and City of Schenectady Mayor Gary McCarthy. There was wonderful media coverage of the event by Spectrum News. The Boys & Girls Club will be launching another video production project with our kids this fall.
